Hi, getting excited, the camping season is nearly here. We picked up these little beauties at a boot sale , last weekend. I’ve tried to find out when they were made, but all I’ve found are the porcelain equivalent and no info, at all, on the enamelware. Anyway, they’ll be just great for camping and will match brilliantly all our Falconware. I can just imagine sitting outside the tent, a view of the sun setting over the Atlantic and the Pays Basque, with a tin mug of Tetleys, perfect.
Our favourite , low season campsite, is situated between Guetary and St. Jean de Luz and has clifftop pitches with incredible views. It opens on the 1st April to 1st November, we were there on the 1st November last year, beautiful weather , not sure we’ll be there for the opening, a bit dodgy weather wise at present. Another couple of weeks and it should be looking good.
