Cap Roig, Calella de Palafrugall.

We recently visited the Cape Roig botanical gardens in Calella de Palafrugall, about 2 hours north of Barcelona.  It really is worth a tour if you’re in the area. The land was bought in 1926 by Colonel Woevodsky and Dorothy Webster, they built the château and created the gardens, the work was eventually finished in 1974. Entrance fee is 4 euros for an adult. During July and August they hold a music festival in the evenings, with many international artists playing. The tickets are pretty expensive due to the small size of the seating area, a really impressive backdrop of the Mediterranean and slinky bar areas.

Ooooh spikey spikey !!!!

I’ve never seen such tall Cacti before.
